I am what you would call “Sweet“ but it’s not what you think. Let me explain…
Have you ever heard of the car game sweet or sour? It’s an easy and entertaining game you can play with your kids on long road trips.
When anyone in a car drives pass, wave as hard as you can and jump up-and-down. If the other 🚗 car does any of the following.. wave back, honk, or yell hello from an open window, they are considered “sweet” otherwise they are called “sour”.
It’s fun to predict what responses you’ll get from each passerby. Over time, we adapted this game for anytime we were out and about walking. We simply say “hi” and see what happens.
What I love most about this game is it gets me and my kids out of our bubble, it helps spread friendliness, and it happens to be my subject for today’s #PardonMyPositivity.
💥 The energy you bring to any situation either infects it or effects it. 💥
The reason we show up in the world “Sweet” is not because we are supposed to, it’s because of how it makes us feel about ourselves. It feels good to be nice! 🙌
We are fountains, not drains. 💗
Set an example & BE the reflection of the world you want to live in.
Your slice of kindness may just be the proof that someone is desperately seeking.
